Meet the Owner

Welcome and thank you for checking out our brand! My name is Afrika J and I am the CEO, owner, and formulator behind Lux Lavish Organics. It was my passion for skincare that led me to become a licensed Esthetician and ultimately start my own business. The goal was to help people of all skin types to achieve healthy skin by utilizing ingredients derived from the earth. 

As a mom of two I find that self-care is the best care. Only the best version of you will be able to show up for others. Between parenting and schooling I have experienced dry skin, oily skin, eczema, psoriasis, and several dermatitis conditions. With the skin being the most important organ on our bodies, I set out to pour love into each and every handcrafted product I make. Our products help to change a normal showering routine into a luxury spa experience.

What better than skin products derived from the beautiful earth! Lux Lavish Organics uses a blend of natural butters and oil to keep your skin hydrated and alive!

Shea Butter

Derived from nuts found on the shea tree of East and West Africa, shea butter aids in keeping skin plump and moisturized. It is rich in antioxidants and vitamins that help with aging, healing of scars, soothing of dermatitis, and acts as an anti-inflammatory.

Mango Butter

Made with the oil from mango seeds, mango butter aids in moisturizing without clogging pores. Its high in vitamins A, E, and C and has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties to speed up healing.

Kokum Butter

Derived from the fruit kernels of the kokum tree, also known as Garcinia Indica, kokum butter is well known for its ability to regenerate skin cells. Kokum butter s rich in essential fatty acids that help promote elasticity.

Jojoba Oil

Extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant also known as Simmondsia Chinensis, jojoba oil is full nourishing vitamin E and aids in fading fine lines and wrinkles.

Coconut Oil

Extracted from the kernel of matured coconuts, coconut oil has antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties.

Grapeseed Oil

Grapeseed oil is extracted from grape seeds and it’s high in linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid that can help control acne by decreasing clogged pores.
